Rob Lisita and Taiyo Nakahara scored huge wins against highly regarded opponents in Takeshi Inoue and Marcos Vinicius respectively at the inaugural Rebel FC event in Singapore. Check out full results and some highlight clips from the event.

Rebel Fighting Championship hosted their inaugural event this past weekend, and the stacked main card delivered with every single bout ending with thrilling finishes. Headlining the event was Australia's best featherweight in Rob Lisita who was able to be the first man to finish Japanese MMA legend, 'Lion' Takeshi Inoue. After pressing the action early with the aggressiveness he's known for, the Phuket Top Team product was able to secure a rarely seen finish as he tapped Inoue with a Bulldog choke in the second round.

Lisita has now won 6 of his past 7 bouts, and with the victory, he improves his overall record to 13-5. There has been rumblings about a potential UFC slot for the Australian hard hitter for months, and this quality win over a respected vet in Inoue only makes his case stronger.

Another impressive finish was seen during Marcos Vinicius' first bout since being released by the UFC. Unfortunately for the TUF: Brazil standout, he was on the receiving end of an impressive KO from Japanese star, Taiyo Nakahara. The former SRC contender has always been considered as one of the best bantamweights in Japan, but not many thought he would dismantle the UFC veteran that easily. He proved doubters wrong though, as midway through the first round he stopped Vinicius with a huge left hand that put him out on the canvas.

Nakahara has now won 6 of 7, adding this KO with quality wins over King of Pancrase Shintaro Ishiwatari, UFC vet Motonobu Tezuka, and Shooto champ Akitoshi Tamura. His lone blemish since 2007 is an unfortunate disqualification at Legend FC 7.

Also on the card, BJJ world champion and BE Scouting Report inductee Alberto Mina showcased his improved striking as he stopped Glenn Sparv in the opening round of their welterweight bout. The Brazilian improves to 10-0, winning his first MMA bout since moving to Asia to join the Epic MMA stable in Hong Kong.

Other bouts on the card saw Korean Top Team products Gyo Pyung Hwang and Doo Hwan Kim secure knockouts over against hometown hero in Syafiq Samad and late replacement Chris Hofmann respectively.
