The co-main event of UFC on Fox 9 featured one of the best performances in the long career of former WEC champ Urijah Faber, who finished Michael McDonald via submission in the second round. After hurting McDonald badly with punches, Faber chased him across the cage, dropped him, and submitted him with a guillotine. The win sets up Faber for another possible title shot. Round 2 - McDonald scored first with a straight right. Mayday stuffed a Faber shot. Left hook from Urijah. Faber strayed a bit low with a kick. Faber with a huge right hook that hurt Mayday! McDonald came back right away though. Glancing left hook from Urijah. Solid leg kick from McDonald. Big head kick from McDonald, but Faber clipped him with another right hook! McDonald is hurt! He's chasing him all the way across the cage! Faber jumped on him and locked up the guillotine! IT'S OVER! WOW! WHAT A FINISH.
