Thursday afternoon, the UFC held a press conference for the main card fighters of the upcoming UFC on Fox 9 event. The fighters and UFC president Dana White covered a host of issues relating to their bouts. Following the press conference White spoke to MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani and spoke about many current event topics in the MMA world.

UFC on Fox 9 is set to go down Saturday evening at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, CA. The main event features a Flyweight title fight between champion Demetrious Johnson and challenger Joseph Benavidez. In the co-main event, Urijah Faber will face off against fellow former Bantamweight contender Michael McDonald.
