This was my fifth amateur kickboxing match, which I fought with a small fracture in my left tibia. The promoter messed up on my weight class, and matched me up with someone who was fighting two weight classes above me. Didn't matter much to me though. I managed to win a unanimous decision. Not the prettiest fight in the world, but hell... It was a fight. He hurt me with a knee to the gut in the first round (try to guess which one) but I think I hid it pretty well. He was such a strong dude that my arms died out on me from fighting in the clinch with him. I think I could have finished him in the third round if my arms weren't shot from muscling around a bigger guy. Overall, I'm a little disappointed in my performance. I feel that I'm a lot better than what I showed. Can't be too bummed out though, I still got the win.
Anyway, let me know what you guys think. Tips and pointers are much appreciated.
I'm in the red headgear, blue gloves.
