The main event of UFC Fight Night 32 featured a Light Heavyweight fight between Vitor Belfort and Dan Henderson. Earlier this week, UFC president Dana White said that a win over Henderson could earn Belfort a shot at the Middleweight title. Belfort made everything he could of the opportunity with a first round KO over Hendo. Prior to this fight, Henderson had never been (T)KO'd in his 39-fight career. Belfort is now 4-1 since his last Middleweight title shot with his only loss coming to Light Heavyweight champ Jon Jones
The first minute of the fight went slow. Henderson took the center of the Octagon while Vitor stayed on the outside. Belfort caught Henderson coming in. Henderson tried to work his way back up from his knees while Belfort swarmed with punches. Belfort let Hendo get two feet under him then unleashed a vicious headkick that brought Dan Miragliotta in to stop the fight.
