USA TODAY Sports

Live results for the five fight main card for UFC Fight Night 31.

UFC Fight for the Troops 3 takes place tonight, live from Fort Campbell, Kentucky. The prelims start at 3:10 p.m. ET with four bouts on Facebook / YouTube followed by four preliminary bouts on Fox Sports 1 at 5 p.m. ET and a five fight main card on Fox Sports 1 starting at 7 p.m. ET.

This post will cover the action from the main card.

In the night's main event, former Army Ranger, Tim Kennedy will be the heavy fan favorite as he takes on Rafael Natal in a middleweight bout. The women's bantamweight division will see some action as Liz Carmouche, a former Marine, takes on Alexis Davis.

A second middleweight bout will take place as Ronny Markes faces off with Yoel Romero.

Rounding out the card is a pair of lightweight bouts as Jorge Masvidal faces Rustam Khabilov and Colton Smith takes on Michael Chiesa.

Make sure to share your thoughts in the comments as tonight's action goes down.

Michael Chiesa vs. Colton Smith - Round 1 - Smith with a leg kick, Chiesa throwing a few punches. Neither men really landing much of anything of note in the first minute. Smith has the back and gets a takedown. Chiesa quickly reverses and now he is the one on the back and has the body triangle and is working a face crank. Chiesa can't finish it and as he tries to transition, Smith takes his back again. Smith with some ground and pound and now he is fully on Chiesa's back, Chiesa is standing with Chiesa trying to finish the choke and it looks deep. Chiesa slams and gets out of the choke attempt. They separate finally and they high five and smile. 10-9 Smith.

Round 2 - Chiesa quickly has the back in the second round and he gets the arm under the chin and this time he is able to finish. A good throw set that up and he finished well with the choke. Michael Chiesa wins by submission (rear naked choke), round 2.

Jorge Masvidal vs. Rustam Khabilov - Round 1 - Khabilov with a wild overhand that cracks Masvidal on the chin. A lot of wild punches from both guys, each landing here and there. Masvidal with a nice punch as they break from a clinch. Overhand right lands for Khabilov again. Hard flurry of punches from Khabilov. 10-9 Khabilov.

Round 2 - Both men are still winging, Masvidal is starting to duck the right hand but he does eat a left hand. Masvidal with a takedown and he does a little bit of damage but Khabilov is able to get to his feet and start working again. 10-9 Masvidal for me.

Round 3 - Masvidal working the jab. Khabilov with a wild kick that catches Masvidal clean and drops him. Khabilov is pouncing and he is trying to take the back. He gets to his feet and Khabilov takes him back down. Somehow, Masvidal recovers and he's back to his feet and working. Khabilov working punches and now he catches a Masvidal spinning back kick and takes him down. Masvidal almost takes the back but they're back to the feet. 10-9 Khabilov. So I have it 29-28 Khabilov.

Official scorecards: 30-27, 29-28, 30-27. Rustam Khabilov wins by unanimous decision.

Rony Markes vs. Yoel Romero - Round 1 - Markes had a takedown early but Romero got to his feet quickly. Big left hand from Romero hurts Markes and another just misses the mark. Romero throws a weird backhand punch but misses and Markes with a body lock and takedown. Romero misses with a spinning backfist after getting back to his feet. Romero misses the takedown. 10-9 Markes.

Round 2 -Romero with a good knee early and a few solid elbows in the clinch. He now powers Markes to the ground from a head clinch and is standing over him before backing off and telling him to stand up. Big body kick by Romero and a right hand and Markes is down again. Flying knee from Markes and a body kick and he is starting to come on a little bit but Romero moves away. Hard right by Markes has Romero's legs wobbled a ittle bit. Still probably 10-9 Romero, but Markes could have stolen it.

Round 3 - Romero lands a massive punch that puts Markes down and two more on the ground and it's all over. Yoel Romero wins by KO (punches), round 3.

Liz Carmouche vs. Alexis Davis - Round 1 - Davis with a leg kick, Carmouche with a better one in return. Davis with a nice kick. A lot of movement and mostly just kicks from both fighters. Leg kick from Davis causes Carmouche to lift her leg and it looked like it bothered her. More leg kicks for the rest of the round. 10-9 Davis.

Round 2 -Good counterpunch by Carmouche early in the round, and now a leg kick. Davis starting to land some really big shots but a big one in return from Carmouche splits Davis above the left eye and she's  bleeding badly. Carmouche tags her on the cut again but Davis lands well herself. Davis with two more good punches. Davis gets her down and is in side control. Carmouche reverses as the round ends. Good round, I have it 10-9 Davis but that cut could stop the fight.

Round 3 -Davis coming forward right away again. Both fighters trading knees to the body in the clinch. Carmouche is making Davis work but isn't really doing enough to get the win in any round in my eyes. They trade down the stretch and the fight ends. 10-9 Davis again for me for the sweep.

Official scorecards: 30-27, 30-27, 29-28. Alexis Davis wins by unanimous decision.

Tim Kennedy vs. Rafael Natal - Round 1 - Kennedy with a right hand. Natal misses a punch, Kennedy misses and now Natal lands. Natal is landing a bit better than Kennedy here. Kennedy lands hard to the body now. Kennedy's left leg is welted up from leg kicks already. Kennedy explodes with a big shot that drops Natal and some follow up shots end it. Tim Kennedy wins by KO (punches), round 1.
