Bellator's first PPV event may have fallen through, but putting the card on SPIKE TV was just what the doctor ordered, ratings-wise. The numbers came in at 1.4 million peak with a 1.1 million average according to SPIKE TV via Josh Gross. That would make this Bellator card the most watched in it's history.
Per Spike TV: Chandler-Alvarez 2 is the "most watched mixed martial [arts] event on television this fall." Drew 1.1M viewers with 1.4M peak.— Josh Gross (@JoshGrossESPN) November 5, 2013
I'm hearing Djork oops Bjork got served a big fat plate of Karma tonight :) Congrats Eddie!!— Dana White (@danawhite) November 3, 2013
In uncharacteristic fashion, Rebney responded to that tweet about an hour ago, after the numbers were released publicly. He made no bones about enjoying his big plate of karma.
@danawhite If Fight of the Year & 10 times better ratings than you did on your last televised show is Karma, bring me another plate.— Bjorn Rebney (@BjornRebney) November 5, 2013
