For a few days at least, it seems that UFC middleweight Lyoto Machida didn't have a contract with the UFC. Reports emerged following his UFC Fight Night 30 win over Mark Munoz last month that the bout was the last fight on his deal. Well, it seems that it didn't take too long for him to sign a new one. Machida's manager Ed Soares tweeted a picture of Machida signing a new new deal alongside UFC co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta:
No contract terms have come to light at this time. Machida (20-4), a former UFC light heavyweight champion, already has his next fight booked as well - he'll take on former Strikeforce champ Gegard Mousasi in the main event of a UFC event in Brazil on February 8th.
