Diabate vs. Latifi, Ogle vs. Oliveira among announced UFC fights

USA TODAY Sports

The UFC has continued to announce matchups for various cards, with four coming out in the last 24 hours.

The holidays aren't going to slow down Joe Silva and Sean Shelby. Over the course of the last 24 hours, a total of four new bouts over three events have been announced. One goes down at UFC on Fox 10 in January, two more will take place at UFC Fight Night 36 in Brazil and February, and the final one is slated for the UFC Fight Night event in London in March. Here's a rundown of them.

UFC on Fox 10

Junior Hernandez (13-5) made his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 28 in September, where he was defeated by Lucas Martins. hugo Viana (7-1), a contestant on the first season of The Ultimate Fighter Brazil, is 2-1 in the UFC overall and 1-1 at bantamweight. He picked up a huge knockout win over Reuben Duran last December, but was stopped by T.J. Dillashaw at UFC on Fox 7 in April.

UFC Fight Night 36

Jesse Ronson (13-3) made his UFC debut in Toronto at UFC 165, but was edged out by Michel Prazeres in a bout that went to a split decision. Francisco Trinaldo (13-2) had put together two solid submission wins before he entered the cage with underdog Piotr Hallmann at UFC Fight Night 28, but had his winning streak stopped when he tapped to a kimura. He's 3-2 in the UFC overall.

The other bout announced for this card will see Charles Oliveira (16-4) facing off with Andy Ogle (9-3). Oliveira, who recently turned 24, already has eight octagon bouts to his name and has a 4-4 record overall. He has lost two in a row, albeit to top competition in Cub Swanson and Frankie Edgar. Ogle, a TUF 15 contestant, is 1-2 in the UFC thus far and is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Cole Miller at UFC Fight Night 30 last month.

UFC Fight Night: London

I think we all remember Ilir Latifi (7-3) from the ill-fated Swedish card earlier this year where he lost a decision to Gegard Mousasi as an ultra-late replacement. Cyrille Diabate (19-9-1) hasn't fought since he suffered a leg injury in a bout with Jimi Manuwa back in February. The French kickboxer is 4-3 in the UFC overall.
