UFC 168: Injured Shane del Rosario pulls out of bout with Guto Inocente

USA TODAY Sports

A rib injury is sidelining UFC Heavyweight Shane del Rosario and keeping him out of his scheduled UFC 168 bout against Guto Inocente.

More bad news for Shane del Rosario fans. The oft-injured 30-year-old has been forced to pull out of his scheduled UFC 168 undercard bout against Guto Inocente. MMA Junkie reported the news today.

Del Rosario is 0-2 in his UFC run, following an 11-0 run in Strikeforce, M-1 and Sho-XC. Del Rosario was severely injured in a car wreck in 2011 when his car was struck from behind by a drunk driver. Since then he's lost both his fights.

It's a bad break for Inocente as well. The Strikeforce veteran hasn't fought since May of 2012.
