Tweet of the day: Georges St-Pierre says 'forget all the rumors'

Stephen R. Sylvanie-USA TODAY Sp

UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre took to twitter to let people know he's on vacation and to 'forget all the rumors'.

UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre has been the subject of many rumors since his mysterious post-fight announcement at UFC 167. The champ, who narrowly skirted by Johny Hendricks to retain his title, has had to deal with TMZ stories about his personal life and had recent lawsuits brought to light in the last few days. Today, GSP took to twitter to let fans know that he's doing okay and is on vacation. And to forget the rumors:

St-Pierre (25-2) picked up his ninth straight title defense and 12th win in a row overall with the narrow split decision victory. It is expected that he'll be talking some time off, but most signs (ie. Dana White) are pointing to him rematching Hendricks some time in 2014.
