The UFC will return to Asia in January, but they will be entering a new country with their Fight Night series. UFC Fight Night 34 will take place in the Marina Bay Sands Resort and Casino in Singapore on January 4th. The focus will likely be on Asian fighters (as most regional events are), but the main event features an American and a European in a welterweight battle. Jake Ellenberger will face off with the last Strikeforce welterweight champion, Tarec Saffiedine.
The co-main event of the card hasn't been decided yet as only five bouts have been officially announced. The event will see the UFC debuts of top Japanese fighters Tatsuya Kawajiri and Katsunori Kikuno, who take on Hacran Dias and Quinn Mulhern respectively. Tickets went on sale on November 7th for the event, and these are the fights they've announced for the card so far.
