Im Back! MMA in Manga is pretty good.

Welp, It seems like it been a long time since Ive made a post at all here in BE. Welp its me Gomi500 aka resident otaku who loves MMA. Today im here to talk about All Rounder Meguru. A MMA manga that made its debut in "Evening" Magazine in 2008.

Manga(The Japanese equivalent of an comic book) in japan are works of art. Everyone from old men and women to little kids enjoy it and its held in pretty high regard in the land of the rising sun. Well not that high, lol, but to say the least they do get more credit then American comics. One thing that makes manga such an interesting medium to digest is its robust selection of topics to read from. From grand adventures like stopping the demon lord from conquering the world, to the bizarre as the demon king being kicked out of hell and working at a fast food joint(The Devil is a Part Timer), and to the mundane of just working at a convince store. The sports genre in manga is no different. Sports such as Volleyball(Spike!!), Rock Climbing(Kokou no Hito), Badminton(Smash!!), and Ping pong all get their time to shine and be represented. MMA also has its manga equivalent. Series like Holyland, Tough, Shamo, Ultra Red, and Baki the grappler all give their representations of MMA but ultimately sorta fail to capture the essence of it. Only two seems to stand above the rest. All Rounder Meguru and Teppuu. Today let me show you a review of Volume 1 of All Rounder Meguru and maybe you can experience first hand the joy this manga can bring. Also, sorry bout the audio. It fugged up in editing. Wont happen again.
