Sotiropoulos clearly trying to find a way to get the fight to the ground where he wanted it. For almost the entire first four minutes of the fight, he circled away from KJ staying out of striking range aside from a few sporadic one-off shots. He accidentally poked Noons in the eye causing a halt to the "action". But when they restarted it was fireworks. For the final 20 seconds of the round, the two went toe-to-toe winging punches with Noons landing the better shots.
A lot more action and a lot less boos from the crowd in round two. Sot found his range and landed some good straight punches as Noons swung for big hooks and uppercuts. Both men made their mark on the other before Sotiropoulos rushed in for a takedown. He got KJ down, but couldn't do anything with it. Noons missing a lot of punches thrown from well below his hips. Sot landed some solid shots and almost caught Noons with a head kick.
Noons still went for the big punches in the final round. A couple glancing blows opened a pair of cuts on Sotiroupolous. Right hook from Noons had G-Sot wobbled but he recovered quickly and went in for a failed takedown. After landing three unchecked leg kicks, the Aussie caught Noons with a head kick. KJ responded with a couple looping hooks.
