Bellator's first trip to pay-per-view now has a finalized main card. In addition to a light heavyweight bout between legends Quinton Jackson and Tito Ortiz, along with three title fights, the promotion has added a heavyweight tournament final bout between Cheick Kongo and Vinicius "Spartan" Queiroz to the card. They announced the bout via press release:
"To be able to put on a card of this caliber for our first pay-per-view is something really special," Bellator CEO and Chairman Bjorn Rebney stated. "Kongo vs. 'Spartan' should be absolute fireworks and will be a fantastic way to kick off what should be a historic night on Nov. 2 from the Long Beach Arena."
Kongo (19-8-2) picked up a win in his Bellator debut earlier this month by stopping Mark Godbeer in the second round. Queiroz (7-3) is 2-1 in Bellator thus far, most recently knocking out Lavar Johnson in just 23 seconds. The winner of this bout will get a title shot against Bellator heavyweight champion Alexander Volkov some time next year.
