Rafael Suanes-US PRESSWIRE

A bantamweight fight between Canada's own Yves Jabouin and Brazilian veteran Johnny Eduardo has been made for UFC 158 in Montreal.

UFC 158 is shaping up nicely as more fights pour in for the Montreal, QC show set for March 16th. Today UFC Canada made the first bantamweight booking of this card official, as Yves Jabouin fights Johnny Eduardo.

Jabouin (18-8 MMA, 3-2 UFC) is a fan-favorite known for his memorable back-and-forth war with fellow Canadian Mark Hominick at WEC 49 in Alberta (which Hominick won by TKO). While Yves lost his UFC debut to Pablo Garza, he rolled off 3 straight wins, and in September he fought Brad Pickett in Nottingham, England, but Pickett's picture-perfect uppercut sent him to sleep in the 1st round.

Eduardo (26-9 MMA, 1-1 UFC) is a 17 year veteran of the sport -- he did have multiple hiatuses in the early 2000s -- who has never been knocked out in his professional career. His time in the UFC has been mixed, with Raphael Assuncao defeating him at UFC 134, but Eduardo did rebound by beating Jeff Curran this past May.

This fight will likely be placed on the preliminary card, and is certainly another quality addition to a very strong looking PPV event.
