Rewatching Joe Lauzon and Jim Miller's gorefest, I heard Jon Anik reference the fact that both have brothers who have fought in the ufc (he didn't mention that both happen to be named Dan, but what ever.) He followed that up by saying they were two among eight sets of brothers who had done so.
So I started trying to think of who the others are.
The Noguieras are obvious, as are the Diazes and the Shamrocks (yeah, the Shamrocks aren't biological brothers - doesn't matter to me, so I'm guessing that the record keepers consider the adoption angle legit as well.)
But that's only five sets. Shogun's brother is a fighter, but I don't think he's ever fought in the UFC, although I could certainly be mistaken on that count. There's obviously at least two fighting families I'm missing, and I'm sure hoping it's not anything really obvious. Oh man, as soon as I typed that I thought of Royce and Renzo. I guess that's pretty obvious.
(edit)
Obvious, but wrong since they are not brothers but cousins...
Who am I missing, y'all?
Junior and Rafael Assuncao added, per George Halvatzis.
Matt and Mark Hughes added, per Sweet Scientist.
So that's seven sets down, who are the remaining two (or more) fighters that will take us to eight?
