Ron Chenoy-US PRESSWIRE
UFC 156 is really good. I mean it's really really really good. Not only is this card fantastic, it has stayed injury-free, something that plagued multiple UFC shows in 2012. You have a featherweight title fight between Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar. There's also the return of Alistair Overeem against Antonio Silva. Rashad Evans fights Lil' Nog in the co-main event. The rest of the main card is just fantastic and you don't need me to tell you that.
On the prelims you'll see plenty of Strikeforce guys, including Bobby Green and Isaac Vallie-Flagg. Tyron Woodley is the sole "injury replacement" fighter, as he's in for Erick Silva to face Jay Hieron.
It's also Super Bowl weekend, and while the Seahawks would like to be here, they're too busy blowing 4th quarter leads playing Madden. Instead you have the Ravens and the 49ers, and Baltimore DT Arthur Jones is the older brother of Jon Jones. So there's your MMA connection.
Okay, here's how the card looks, now salivate...
