We'll have live updates tonight starting with the main card.
Koffie Adzitso vs. Ben Saunders - Round 1 - Saunders with a right that lands after his head kick was blocked. Saunders now turns Adzitso into the cage. Adzitso with a takedown but Saunders grabs the cage so that he doesn't end up in too bad of position. Saunders on bottom now with the inverted triangle choke, which he releases and is now working for a regular triangle but Adzitso forces his arm through it. Saunders throwing a lot of shots off his back. Referee stands them up now. Saunders with a body kick, a knee and now a takedown of his own. They end up stood up again and Saunders lands a big knee to the chin before the round ends. 10-9 Saunders.
Round 2 - Doesn't take long for Saunders to end up on top and he lands a few good punches. He's working well from the top but the ref stands them up anyway. Three bad stand-ups so far by the referee. Adzitso is looking for the single leg now. Now Adzitso gets the takedown but he's all tied up by Saunders. Saunders looks for the triangle choke and Adzitso slides through and...the ref stands them up again. Kerry Hatley is a horrible ref. Saunders lands some good knees, Adzitso fails to really do anything with wild, bad punches in return. 10-9 Saunders.
Round 3 - Saunders with big knees to the body and Adzitso pushes him into the cage. Saunders ends up with the takedown and he's landing a lot of punches now. Saunders really working him over this round, standing up and dropping big punches down. Saunders ends up on top after Adzitso tries for a takedown and Saunders is in full mount now. Saunders goes for the armbar at the end of the round but can't finish. Should be an easy 30-27 for him, but who knows with these judges and a ref that altered the entire fight with his awful stand-ups.
Official scorecards: 30-27 across the board. Ben Saunders wins by unanimous decision.
Douglas Lima vs. Michail Tsarev - Round 1 - Lima with a leg kick early on. Tsarev shoots in and Lima sprawls to keep from getting taken down. Tsarev just holding on to the single leg and it takes to about 2:30 before he starts to get the takedown before Lima reverses to end up on top and land some punches. They are eventually stood up after nothing was happening. This round has been pretty boring, honestly. Head kick by Tsarev is blocked. Leg kick by Lima. Leg kick by Tsarev. 10-9 Lima.
ROund 2 - A hard leg kick at the bell for round 1 had dropped Tsarev and he was hurt. Now, Lima drills that same leg to start the round and again Tsarev goes down. Lima to the leg again and it looked like Tsarev tried to quit but the ref didn't understand. Tsarev is on one leg now as he gets up and hops. Lima drills it again and again and...finally the fight is stopped. Referee Jason Herzog allowed him to take far too many shots when he clearly couldn't stand. Douglas Lima wins by TKO (leg kicks), round 2.
Przemyslaw Mysiala vs. "King" Mo - Round 1 - Mysiala lands an awkward right hand. Mo pushing forward now. Mo lands a hard jab and then comes up short on the left hook. Mo with a jab and then a combo and Mysiala is wanting no part of this. Eventually a right hand lands for Mo and Mysiala drops. That'll do it. King Mo wins by TKO (punch), round 1.
Welterweight Championship: Ben Askren (c) vs. Karl Amoussou - Round 1 - Amoussou comes out hard and lands a big right hand. Askren is looking to get inside and get the takedown now. Amoussou slips when throwing a kick and Askren is now on top. Askren doing his usual smothering top game stuff now while Amoussou is trying to throw a lot of strikes off his back. Amoussou is bleeding from the strikes of Askren but he is still looking for armbars and punching off his back. 10-9 Askren.
Round 2 - Right hand lands for Askren early in the round and then he ends up on his back as they scramble and now Amoussou drops for a heel hook. It was very deep but Askren does manage to get out and now he's on top. Bad idea to give up position going for the leg lock. Askren punching away and Amoussou is bleeding pretty badly now. Askren really opening up with some big punches now and Amoussou is just taking them. That was dominant 10-8 Askren.
Round 3 - Askren quickly with the takedown. He is just dominating. Punching Amoussou as much as he wants and completely owning this fight. Askren ends the round in full mount pounding away while the ref looks on. This should be stopped. 10-8 Askren.
There will be no fourth round. The referee has stopped the fight. Ben Askren wins by TKO (ref stoppage), round 3.
