Tetsu Suzuki vs. Yuta Sasaki
Excited for this fight. Tetsu is relentless in all areas of fighting, and really needs a win. Yuta has good footwork, but doesn't have the best hands. He does, however, hover above Tetsu by a considerable margin, and has a reach that will help him in the fight. Both are good grapplers, but Tetsu has had success both at home and abroad... Uruka is quick to give up the takedown, in my opinion, which is something he'll had to have worked on.
Yuta's last fight against Manubu was okay; he had good movement and landed some clean shots. He was also able to get the takedown a few times; if it wasn't for terrible Shooto judging he would have won. Tetsu didn't have the same luck in is last fight, so...
Shinji Sasaki vs. Shin Kochiwa
Waturu Miki vs. LeeKoung
Ryuichi Miki vs. Kim
Shigeki Osawa vs. Kazuya Sato
Kind of excited to see Osawa back in action. He had a spark at the start of his career, but has subsequently fallen off. A lot of that had to do with judging, to be honest; although he hasn't been living the fighters life -- he drinks and practically lives at the bar.
I don't see Sato being able to survive, though.
Rambo Kosuke vs. Hiroshi Roppongi
I don't have much hope for Rambo's MMA future. Yeah, he has power, but he has gotten his chin tested and did not pass. Going all out isn't going to advance his career, really. But it sure is fun.
The event is today.
