MMA Tete-A-Tete: Some SF fighters heading to the UFC, Rampage to Bellator? Nate & Eugene talk MMA

With a number of fighters riding a promotional merry-go-round after the fall of Strikeforce, Nate and Eugene talk about how the SF champs Cormier & Melendez will do in the UFC, the future of Rampage Jackson, Bellator's upcoming season and more on Michael Bisping and UFC on FX 7.

I'm back with another installment of the MMA Tete-A-Tete: Coarsening the Discourse. Eugene S. Robinson author of Fight: Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Ass-Kicking but Were Afraid You'd Get Your Ass Kicked for Asking is my counter-part for this edition.

As always if you enjoy this sort of gum flapping, subscribe to the MMA Nation YouTube channel. Subscribers are the only ones who can watch us shoot these things live.

Today's topics include:

* The imminent arrival of Strikeforce Lightweight champ Gilbert Melendez & Heavyweight Grand Prix champ Daniel Cormier in the UFC. UFC LW champ Ben Henderson is set to welcome Gil to the Octagon and Frank Mir will do the same for Cormier at UFC on Fox 7 in April.

* The promotional merry-go-round: 20+ Strikeforce fighters are headed for the UFC but a couple of names are not on the list: Josh Barnett, Rafael "Feijao" Cavalcante, and Jorge Masvidal. Are these guys coming to the UFC eventually, headed to Bellator, back to Japan?

* Quinton "Rampage" Jackson's departure from the UFC following his UFC on Fox 6 bout with Glover Teixeira. Why he's done with the UFC, his deal with Reebok and what he might do in Bellator or if he even wants to fight anymore.

* The upcoming stacked Bellator cards and the fights we are looking forward to including Michael Chandler vs. Rick Hawn, Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal and Renato "Babalu" Sobral's debut with the promotion, Pat Curran and Ben Askren defending their belts and more.

* Eugene's odd fascination with and sympathy for Michael Bisping as he heads toward a possible Middleweight title shot that Eugene thinks would mark the end of his career.

Enjoy!
