All 22 fighters are ready for the season 8 debut on Spike TV with successful weigh-ins.
After much ado, Bellator is ready to make their debut on Spike TV with Bellator 85. As you might have noticed, they withheld many of their biggest stars from their final season on MTV 2 in order to hit hard in 2013. So in season 8 we get to see the exciting fighters Bellator signed last year like "King Mo" Lawal, Babalu Sobral, and (maybe) Paul Daley.
They're kicking off the season Thursday night at 10 pm EST (7 pm PST) with a Lightweight title fight at Bellator 85. The main card will also feature the promotional debut of Sobral and Pat Curran defending his Featherweight belt against Patricio "Pitbull". Wednesday evening, all 22 fighters successfully weighed in for their fights. Watch the weigh-in video at the bottom of the post.
