UFC legend Wanderlei Silva tells an interviewer that Anderson Silva is the only one man who can beat UFC champ Jon Jones.
Former Pride champ and bona fide UFC legend Wanderlei Silva thinks that Chael Sonnen hardly merits a shot at UFC Light Heavyweight champ Jon Jones per Sherdog:
"Whatever the boss [UFC President Dana White] says, I sign underneath. If he thinks this fight is fair, then I think he's absolutely right," Silva said, laughing. "It was a fight I wanted to see; [but] Jones will swallow Sonnen. I spoke with Jones and told him that he can win the fight only with jabs, with one hand tied behind his back."
Wandy does have some definite ideas about who CAN beat Jones however:
The only person who can beat Jones today is Anderson [Silva]. (Jones) talked to me about Anderson, but I cannot say what, obviously."
It's nice to see someone talking about Anderson vs. Jones, after the failure to book Georges St. Pierre vs. Anderson Silva, the UFC has seemingly put talk of an Anderson Silva super fight on the back burner.
