Bloody Elbow fans in the Chicago area - if you are looking for some entertaining live fight action tonight, come check out the local fight scene. On Friday, January 11, Imperial Fighting Challenge will be hosting "Striker's Paradise" live from the Pyramid Club in Addison. Show starts at 8:00 p.m., and all the details are on their website.
The show features all kickboxing and Muay Thai fights, with a heavy emphasis on fighters from local gyms. The two featured fights on the night are Axel Mendez vs. Allen Hollingsworth and Tu Warren vs. Julian Collins.
These kinds of local combat sports shows are often tremendous fun live, with a typically rabid and partisan crowd made up of fighters' family, friends, and teammates, plus fighters who are giving it their all to impress those in attendance. They're a great way to take in some live action, and, who knows, check out some potential future UFC fighters.
