Invicta FC 4: Esparza vs. Hyatt fight card

The ladies kick off MMA for 2013 with Invicta's 4th event. The card features Carla Esparza and Bec Hyatt fighting for the inaugural Strawweight title.

The all women's MMA promotion is ready to kick off the new year with Invicta FC 4: Esparza vs. Hyatt. In the main event, Carla Esparza will battle Bec Hyatt for the company's inaugural Strawweight title. Originally, Esparza was scheduled to face Claudia Gadelha, but the undefeated Brazilian suffered a broken nose in training. The change was announced yesterday and Hyatt has less than a week to prepare for her new opponent.

Invicta FC 4 will start at 7 pm EST (4 pm PST) on Saturday, January 5. The event will take place in Memorial Hall in Kansas City, KS. This will be the first Invicta event not available on a free stream. Instead, You can purchase an iPPV through USTREAM at InvictaFC.com for $7.95.
