UFC middleweight contender Chris Weidman has had an eventful week. He found out that he will be facing off with Tim Boetsch at UFC 155 in December, and he also underwent minor elbow surgery in South Dakota. The undefeated fighter documented the procedure on his Facebook page:

Just got these bad boys taken out of my elbow. Have been in there for 2 years. Def happy I won't be dealing with that pain anymore. Also got announced I'm fighting december 29 against Tim Boetsch in Vegas. Excited

Those "bad boys" just happen to be pretty huge, as you can see in the photo. The surgery was successful though, and he's still good to go for December 29th in Las Vegas. You can catch a pic of what his elbow looks like post-surgery after the jump.
