If Josh Koscheck had not been injured, would UFC 151 have gone forward with Ellenberger vs. Koscheck as the main event?
One thing thrown around in the aftermath of the UFC 151 debacle is that this was in part the UFC's fault and that it blew up in their face for putting on such weak cards. In my opinion, Jones vs. Henderson and Koscheck vs. Ellenberger following the fireworks of a fun fight between Dennis Siver and Eddie Yagin would have been a great card.
Injuries happen, some cards are weaker than others. People will always complain, but had Koscheck not been injured, I think an event would have taken place and at the very least those who bought tickets would have seen some good fights. I think it is unfair for some to solely place the blame on the UFC for putting on weak cards, because that is not what they set out to do originally.
