The UFC's final FX card of 2012 has its first preliminary card addition to the December 15th Australian show. TUF alum and crowd-pleaser Krzysztof Soszynski is returning to action following an uncertain future, and he'll take on Ednaldo Oliveira, who is dropping to 205 lbs for the first time in his career. Tatame's Guilherme Cruz confirmed the matchup on Twitter:

Soszynski (26-12-1 MMA, 6-3 UFC) is a veteran of the sport who has carved out a respectable showing in his time with the UFC. Unfortunately, at UFC 140 he suffered a violent KO loss against Igor Pokrajac, and Soszynski claims he has no memory of the 35 second smashing. There were reports that "The Polish Experiment" had retired following this defeat, but he has a fight now, so there's your answer.

Oliveira (13-1-1, 1 NC MMA; 0-1 UFC) has spent his entire career at heavyweight, beating the likes of Geronimo dos Santos and Joaquim Ferreira in Brazilian regionals. He debuted at UFC 142 in January against Gabriel Gonzaga, but was completely dominated on the ground and easily submitted. After his loss, he was scheduled to face Nick Penner at UFC on FUEL 4 at 205 lbs, but suffered a broken arm and could not compete. It'll be interesting to see a 6'7 guy fighting at LHW.

UFC on FX 6, which doubles as the TUF: The Smashes finale, takes place in Australia (at a TBD venue) on December 15th in Australia, but airs December 14th in North America due to time difference. This means that once again the UFC is holding events on consecutive days, as the TUF 16 Finale takes place on the 15th in North America.
