Vitor Belfort vs Mauricio Rua

Don't act like you wouldn't want to see this.

Let's be real, I don't think Belfort has anything for Jon Jones. In my opinion he is going to get hurt, and very very badly. With a quickness. I just re-watched the fight with him vs Anthony Johnson and could not help but think "oh god, if this was Jones, I wouldn't be able to sleep again for a while" after rumble was able to get him down a couple times.

Shogun Rua is a really good fighter. Tons of heart, good power, wicked kicks, and a nice ground game. Oh yeah, and a chin made of Gundanium. Okay, so he has gassed a lot and has taken a crapfuckshitpisston of damage, but he's held his own. I'm in the minority who feels that he will defeat Gustafsson, but would not be surprised by a Mauler win.

After the smoke clears and if both men end up losing their upcoming bouts, this fight, in my opinion. would be an excellent fight to make. This would especially serve well as Shogun's debut fight at 185. It could go down at 205 too depending on how Belfort feels after the Jones bout.

This was a random thought that popped up late night, and I just think it would be wicked all around if it were to come to fruition.
