In another cringe worthy afternoon for Zuffa, UFC 153 had now lost its main event after losing Quinton "Rampage" Jackson earlier from the co main. UFC FW champion Jose Aldo has suffered a foot injury, and will not be able to defend his title vs Frankie Edgar.

This is obviously a major blow to the card, as Aldo vs Edgar had been a long talked about superfight that fans were elated to see. The UFC will have major work to do to save this card, as Glover Teixiera is left with no opponent for the co-main event, and Edgar is now the last man standing in the main, with Aldo going down to injury shortly after his initial opponent, Erik Koch.
