Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal didn't like each other too much for a while there, but mutual sponsor MMA Elite got them together to squash their beef. In the second part of an interview that Mo conducted with Rampage, Jackson explains why he wants to switch sports and takes the opportunity to go after...well, just about everyone. It takes about two seconds for Jackson to rip today's MMA, calling it "boring as f*ck" and taking trainer Greg Jackson to task for changing the sport . You can watch the whole interview below, or hit the jump for the choice quotes.
"I wanna go to boxing or something. I wanna do something different. I wanna do kickboxing, I wanna do something different. MMA is getting boring to me. Like honestly, Greg Jackson, he's changing fighters, the sport is f*cking boring as f*ck."
The two men discuss how win bonuses should be restructured to ensure more entertaining fights, but Rampage says that promoters don't listen to fighters:
"We the ones puttin' our lifes on the line, puttin' our health on the line to make them [promoters] money. They make more money than we're making. We don't get the respect. If we lose the fight, they call us crap or we finished or somethin' like that."
They then switch the topic to a comparison between American and Japanese fans, and kind of take a shot at American fans. Mo says that a lot of American fans are "wannabes" and Rampage agrees:
"How many people in this world will would do what we do? Step in the cage and go toe-to-toe with somebody?"
...
"They wouldn't even get past the hard work of eight week training camp to even get to the cage."
