In the clip above, a very emotional Brandon Vera speaks to MMA Fighting and Fuel TV's Ariel Helwani about his entertaining war against Shogun Mauricio Rua at UFC on Fox 4.
Always criticized for fighting down to the level of some of his competition, this huge step up has apparently ignited a fire in this the Filipino-American fighter, making for an excellent scrap against the #4 Ranked Light Heavyweight in Shogun. He still eventually came up short during the fourth round, but 'The Truth', who came in as a huge underdog, put up a valiant effort displaying a lot of grit and heart on a bout which surely won people over.
