After being almost to a title shot, Phil Davis returns to the prelims against replacement fighter Wagner Prado. Josh Grispi was lined up for a title shot but a few very bad showings bump him to Fuel where he'll face Rani Yahya in a very interesting bout. Heavyweights Phil De Fries and Oli Thompson square off on the undercard. Rounding out the broadcast will be fights between Manny Gamburyan and Michihiro Omigawa as well as John Moraga against Ulysses Gomez.

Make sure to come back during the event and share your thoughts as the event goes down.

Hard leg kick by Moraga and Gomez buckled from that one. Gomez tries to get a clinch and then work for a leg to get a takedown. Moraga with a huge combination and Gomez is out COLD. That was a violent finish. John Moraga wins by TKO (punches), round 1.

Left hand by Omigawa and Manny is down for a second but gets back up firing. Body shot by Manny lands. Omigawa lands another nice shot. Head kick by Manny is blocked. Manny tries for a takedown after taking another shot to the side of his head. 10-9 Omigawa.

Round 2 - They both come out aggressive and Omigawa is landing the better shots in the exchange before it slows down. Manny shoots in now and is looking for a takedown. Omigawa is defending well so far but Manny spins him to get him to the mat. Omigawa stands right back up. Slam by Manny and Omigawa is right back up. ANother takedown and this time Manny has him down and has taken the back. Manny turn and settles for being on top in Omigawa's guard since he couldn't get a choke locked in. Round 3 - Big early headkick by Manny and Omigawa's legs are wobbled. Manny with a few big punches but he can't finish. Another head kick and Omigawa survives. Good recovery, but as the fight is most likely even coming in to the round, Omigawa has ground to make up. Omigawa flurries well and now lands some hard shots. He's making up that ground now. Omigawa firing some good counterpunches now. Gamburyan with a takedown but Omigawa stands right back up again. Omigawa tries for a choke to counter the takedown but gets taken down anyway. Official Scorecards: 29-28, 29-28, 30-27 Manny Gamburyan wins by unanimous decision.

Phil De Fries vs. Oli Thompson - Round 1 - Thompson pushes him into the cage but as De Fries is a human man with limbs and not an atlas stone, he is unable to pick him up and gets spun with his own back against the cage. A lot of nothing happens and they're restarted. De Fries pushes him back into the cage again. De Fries with a takedown and they end up right back to the feet. They're restarted, De Fries charges forward and holds him against the cage. Two of the ugliest punches in professional MMA thrown by De Fries as the round ends. 10-9 De Fries.

Some more big shots by De Fries now. Thompson is turtled up on the ground, not doing anything even though De Fries isn't doing anything either. De Fries sinks a choke and there's the tap. Phil De Fries wins by submission (rear naked choke), round 2.

Josh Grispi vs. Rani Yahya - Round 1 - Grispi with some big punches and avoids the ground well. Yahya with a quick takedown off of a knee now. Grispi has full guard and Yahya throws a few punches. Grispi tried for a kimura but it opened up a chance or Rani to pass to side control. Grispi turns and gets half guard but Yahya passes quickly back to side control. Yahya turns to a north-south choke and slowly tightens it and gets the sub. Rani Yahya wins by submission (north-south choke), round 1.

Phil Davis vs. Wagner Prado - Round 1 - Prado with some reaching strikes while Davis looks for the opening for a takedown. Accidental eye poke by Phil Davis as Prado was trying to come forward with a big left. There's some blood coming from Prado's eye, Prado says he's "seeing two people" so the fight is stopped. Prado then SCREAMS and freaks out that the fight is stopped. It was 100% the right call since he said he couldn't see normally, but his disappointment with the stoppage was borderline heartbreaking. No Decision due to unintentional foul.

Cole Miller vs. Nam Phan - Round 1 - Front kick to the face by Miller. Phan trying to come forward. They're trading some big strikes. Phan is actually doing a good job of getting around the length of Miller. Phan with some big left hands and now a big right. It's Phan with the best shots so far.
