Strikeforce: Melendez vs. Healy will take September 29th in Sacramento, CA, and the card is starting to round out. The card will air on Showtime at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The main event sees Strikeforce lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez defending his title against grizzled veteran Pat Healy. The guy who gave Melendez a run for his money in his last defense, Josh Thomson, will return to face off with Caros Fodor. In addition to those bouts, Jorge Santiago will return to Strikeforce at welterweight to meet Quinn Mulhern, and 205-pound prospect Guto Inocente will meet Gian Villante.
