The main event of UFC on FX 5 on October 5th is an intriguing heavyweight battle between Travis Browne and Antonio Silva, and the linemakers have installed Browne as a sizable favorite. Despite wins over the likes of Fedor Emelianenko, Silva has lost two bouts in a row (to Cain Velasquez and Daniel Cormier) and that must have swayed the bookies. Check out the current line:
While I think Browne is the more athletic fighter and probably takes the bout, it's crazy to see Bigfoot as such a big underdog here. There's a ton of value there, and I've already jumped on that line. Silva might be slower, but he's a gigantic man with heavy hands and good BJJ. This bout is most definitely closer than the books have it at right now.
