I wrote a poem about Brock way back after Cain disposed of him and it seemed to be pretty well received on here. It's been a long time since I felt the urge to write another one but the whole UFC 151 debacle made me want to write something. So instead of writing the overdone "who is to blame?" or "what's next?"regular articles that are popping up all over the place, I decided to break out the rhyming skills and give a poem another go.
Before the poem is posted, just to be clear, it was easier to write a somewhat humorous poem by taking the side of Sonnen. I don't necessarily believe buy into all of Chael's schtick or believe he would beat Jones but it certainly makes things more entertaining. So without further ado, he is the poem...

In a matter of moments, the UFC claimed
Dana would make an announcement that would bring him to shame
He took to the podium in front of bright lights
The main event was scrapped and he had to cancel the fights
The blame game ensued, who’s fault would it be?
Maybe Jackson, Hendo, bad training or the whole UFC
But we as fans all know who’s to blame
That smug kid named Bone’s who has rose to quick fame
The kid who said he would never turn down a brawl
Until he found out that the one and only Chael Sonnen had gotten the call
He wanted no part of Chael and blamed it on short notice
Maybe thinking his chances of winning were virtually hopeless
The American Gangster took to twitter to vent
Jones is a coward, a chicken, and he ruined the event
But Jon got his way and Machida would come next
Until the Dragon turned it down, we all were perplexed
So in comes The Phenom, moving up a weight class
Hoping to KO the cocky kid and put him right on his ass
But we all know how that story will go
Jones's arm will be raised then onto the next show
Til then we will be bombarded with Chael Sonnen thoughts
About Jones, the DUI and his ensuing mug shots
As he chops down Forrest, he will continue to talk
About how Jones is a chicken and that he is easy to mock
Trash talk will continue til the match finally gets made
Chael will beat up the “champ” and expose the charade
Sonnen will walk away the king at 205
Jones will then go to school and learn how to drive
It will finally be over, no longer a mystery
Thanks to Sonnen, Bones Jones will finally be history
Fans will cheer and celebrate with joy
We will finally be rid of that Camp Jackson boy
