I want to make it clear that I don't know the full details of either case, but I find the similarities to be very bizarre. Jason's cryptic statements about "freedoms" and things being unacceptable to society only make it more intriguing.

Earlier this year, a Russian punk band by the name of "Pussy Riot" was arrested for performing a protest song in a Russian orthodox church. Maybe Jason is just plain crazy, but the similarities of both incidents, the correlation between the time of the trial and Jason's arrest, and Jason's vagueness in regards to his motives for committing his crime, seems really strange to me. Is it possible that Jason orchestrated this incident as some sort of protest.

BTW this isn't meant to be a defense of Jason Miller. I just found the connection to be interesting.
