Texas Open Freestyle Sambo & Catch Wrestling Tournament August 18th In Austin

Austin Sports Center, this Saturday

Eclectic Combat Systems & Rubicon Fightsport are pleased to announce the 2012 Texas Freestyle Sambo & Catch Wrestling Open Championships to be held on August 18th, 2012 at the Austin Sports Center in Cedar Park, Texas.

This year the American Sambo Association (ASA) and International Submission Wrestling Alliance (ISWA) have combined efforts to host both Freestyle Sambo and Catch Wrestling tournaments.

The addition of Catch Wrestling to this 2nd Annual tournament will make this a one-of-a-kind event jamm
ed packed with exciting Freestyle Sambo and Catch Wrestling competition!

This tournament is open to all Sambo, Catch, Judo, BJJ, Wrestling, and Grappling athletes regardless of organizational affiliation and we encourage everyone to attend.

Per ASA regulations, all participants who medal in a Freestyle Sambo Division will earn points towards ASA National Rankings and the ASA Master Sportsman award.

Catch Finalists will also automatically qualify for the 2012 North American Catch Wrestling Championships.

Medals to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners! There will be Special Category Awards as well!!
