Veteran Canadian fighter John Alessio had spent years trying to get back into the UFC, and he finally succeeded as a late replacement at UFC 145 against Mark Bocek. On the main card, no less. But a loss in that bout and a more recent loss to Shane Roller at UFC 148 has him on the outside looking in once again.
My ufc employment has been terminated, im very upset!! Now what?? I tried so hard to be entertaining that I forgot to just win, this sucks!!

The 33-year-old lightweight has been vocal about his frustration with the way Roller controlled him with his wrestling and not taking many risks. He has also stated that the UFC asked him to be exciting, yet he ended up getting the shaft because his opponent was anything but. I think he'd be a solid addition to Strikeforce personally, but somehow I doubt that will happen.
