SBN coverage of UFC 148

Forrest Griffin vs. Tito Ortiz - Round 1 - Griffin throwing a few leg kicks and Tito lands a right hand. Grifin with a few punches and Tito scores a takedown. Huge elbow by Tito. Nice right hand by Tito now. Forrest gets to his feet. They trade some fairly heavy punches in the middle of the octagon. Now they trade head kicks. Forrest starting to take over the stand-up a bit now. Tito is looking slower and more lost as we approach one minute left. Tito with a takedown at the end of the round, but not enough for me. 10-9 Forrest.

Round 2 - Tito lands a big right hand and Forrest lands a big right of his own. Forrest recovers now and lands a hard leg kick and a hard jab. They're really giving it a go and it's sloppy and all that, but the crowd is into it. Forrest firing off a nice combination now and Tito has regressed back to reaching for single punches again. Big right by Forrest. Tito looks exhausted. 10-9 Griffin.

Round 3 - Griffin comes out and lands a hard leg kick. Forrest is punching, Tito is slowly walking around. Forrest just doing whatever the hell he wants. As I type that, Tito blasts him and Forrest rolls backward on the ground but pops right back up. He tries to come forward and Tito takes him down. Tito hasn't really landed much on top here. Forrest does manage to get up without taking any real damage. Forrest with some punches to the body and now a knee. Forrest took the fight back over once they were to the feet. They close out the fight throwing some hard shots. Should be an easy win for Griffin but he's leaving the cage and walking to the back. I assume he's trying to let Tito have his moment, but Dana chases him down and brings him back.
