Livepost: Superkombat + Wladimir Klitschko vs Tony Thompson

Hello! What with everyone being busy anticipating UFC 148 coming up later tonight, what better way to prepare than watching somewhat qualitative kickboxing, and then Wlad Klitschko smoke another fool? Since I'm assuming there will be no official liveposts on the frontpage, I decided to put up a fanpost variety.

The broadcast of Superkombat starts 9 PM CET on Eurosport. That translates to 3 PM ET for you Yanks, but unfortunately I don't think it airs outside of Europe and Asia. If the information on their webpage is correct, it should air in most of Europe and Asia if you have that channel - Eurosport.

Either way, that television broadcast will last two hours, just until 11 PM CET (5 PM ET). That's where your regular boxing comes into play, as Wladimir Klitschko defends his title (titles?) against Tony Thompson in a rematch from a few years ago. On my local schedule, the airing of that event starts just as Superkombat ends, on 11 PM CET.

You will have to check your local listings for more info on if or how you can view either or both of these events. There is more information to be found on Superkombats homepage, link here

As for the Klitschko fight, here is what I found on the always excellent BadLeftHook:

Fight time: 4:30 p.m. EDT

Location: Stade de Suisse - Bern, Switzerland

TV channel: Epix and EpixHD.com (US) / BoxNation (UK) / RTL (Germany)

I think that about covers it. I hope you'll join me for these fights if you have the chance to watch them. Just don't be angry at me if you can't. Cheers!
