I was all set to compete at the Gracie Open tournament in San Jose California on July 15, when all of a sudden I get a call from my coach.
"Hey so uh, yea what do you weigh right now?"
well, like 165, why?
-I was planning on fighting at 155 on the July 22nd
"Shit, well there's this guy, an he needs an opponent to fight at 170, but uh-"
fuckit, yea I'll fight him.
-Not going to say no to my first amateur CAMO fight, even if the other guy is gonna have like 10 lbs on me come fight time.
"Alright, you sure? He's a standup guy, hes got no ground game, you'll submit him easy...he's got two first round tko's but dont let them fool you hes sloppy"
Cool, I'll take him down, tap him out, we all go home happy. Except for the other dude. Him, not so much.
Unfortunately, I had already paid for my ticket to the Gracie open ($88) and they won't refund me! Even if I am fighting at the same big expo (San Jose Fit Expo) just on the CAMO card.
HOWEVER
They will let someone else take my place and compete in any division at any belt level, gi or no gi.

So motherfukers, who out there is interested in competing at this event and still needs to buy their ticket? I am willing to give you mine for $75 for your troubles, message me and we can work out the details. I would really hate to waste the money and not even be able to go to the tourney. Hopefully someone here or someone you know is interested, let me know!
Also, Anderson Silva will drop Chael Sonnen in the 4th and sub him.
