UFC Welterweight Nick Diaz has been making a lot of waves since his UFC 143 loss to interim champion Carlos Condit. Diaz failed his post fight drug test due to marijuana metabolites being found in his urine sample. It was his second failed test for marijuana. Diaz did his best to fight his impending suspension by hiring a lawyer who contended that Diaz hadn't violated any of the rules. However, the NSAC summarily dismissed his defense and upheld his suspension.
On top of all that, Diaz hasn't really addressed his commitment to his retirement which he announced in his post-fight speech at UFC 143. Today we will get some more insight into what Nick Diaz has planned for his MMA future. Last night, Cesar Gracie, Diaz's manager and trainer announced via Twitter:
@UFC @nickdiaz209 @NateDiaz209 Will be posting a statement regarding Nick Diaz's future on graciefighter.com at 4pm PST tomorrow
