The Ultimate Fighter Brazil's featherweight champion will be meeting a member of The Ultimate Fighter 15 at UFC 153 on October 13th in Rio. And it should be pretty interesting. MMA Weekly passes along the news:
Rony Jason aka Rony Mariano Bezerra, who was crowned the first ever Ultimate Fighter Brasil champion last month, will get back in action in his native Brazil this October.
Challenging Jason on his home turf will be Ultimate Fighter Live cast member Sam Sicilia, who takes the fight after finishing Brazilian Cristiano Marcello at the TUF Live Finale in June.
Bezerra (11-3) defeated Godofredo Pepey in the Finale to claim the crown. He's currently on a six-fight winning streak. Sicilia (11-1), as mentioned above, knocked out Cristiano Marcello on the TUF Live Finale and is currently on a seven-fight winning streak.
The bout will likely take place on the main card, which will be headlined by a UFC featherweight title bout between Jose Aldo and Erik Koch.
