X-Ray of Urijah Faber's broken rib, which he sustained during the first round of his championship bout against Renan Barao

Pictured above is an x-ray of Urijah Faber's broken rib, which the 'California Kid' tweeted following his decision loss to Renan Barao at UFC 149. According to the Team Alpha Male fighter, the injury happened midway through the first round, when Barao landed a well placed knee.

Much like his bout against Mike Brown where he gutted through a decision with two broken hands, Faber once again had to fight through more than 20 minutes with a serious injury. It may not be fair to say that's the sole reason for him losing that interim title fight, but no one can really question the man's heart and toughness.
