This post will cover live results and thoughts for the main card.

The night's main event is a UFC interim bantamweight championship fight between Urijah Faber and Renan Barao. Hector Lombard's long awaited UFC debut takes place against Tim Boetsch in the night's co-main event. Heavyweights clash as Cheick Kongo takes on Strikeforce veteran Shawn Jordan. Rounding out the main card is Brian Ebersole against James Head and Chris Clements against Matt Riddle.

Make sure to come back during the event and share your thoughts as the event goes down.

Chris Clements vs. Matt Riddle - Round 1 - Clements with a leg kick and Riddle shoots for a single, trips the other leg and they're to the ground. Clements gets back to his feet. Hard uppercut by Clements and Riddle pushes him into the cage, but then backs away. Hard right by Clements lands. Riddle with a knee from the clinch and Clements separates out. Good body/head combo. Body shot by Riddle and Clements covers up but the ref thought it was low and gave him a second but they kept fighting anyway. Riddle had a takedown by Clements stood back up. Riddle still pushing or it and he jumps on Clements' back. Clements gets out of the position and Riddle stands up. Uppercut by Clements lands hard. And a few more and the round ends. 10-9 Riddle.

Round 2 - Riddle tries again for the body kick as the round starts. Hard knee and right hand by Clements and a spinning backfist and Riddle looks for a takedown in response. Riddle does get the takedown and Clements can't get back to his feet. Riddle ends up on Clements' back and has a body triangle. Riddle working the right hands. Clements with a nice elbow somehow despite having his back taken. Riddle tried for an arm triangle and missed it. Riddle back to the back and he's trying to keep grinding away. Clements gets back to his feet. Hard body kick by Clements. Spinning kick by Clements just misses the face of Riddle. Right hand by Clements and Riddle shoots again, this time he can't get it. They trade big elbows to end the round. 10-9 Riddle.

Round 3 - Clements with another body kick. Big right by Clements and he's firing away with big shots but they clinch up for a second. Riddle with another takedown. Clements gets back up. Clements lands a few strikes, Riddle catches an arm standing and he has an arm triangle. He takes him down with the arm triangle, squeezes and gets the tap. Matt Riddle wins by submission (arm triangle), round 3.

Brian Ebersole vs. James Head - Round 1 - Ebersole shoots, Head tries to take his neck but backs out. Ebersole shoots again, nothing there and Head backs out again. Body shot by Head, and now a good combination by Head. Body kick by Ebersole. Another knee by Head. Head with a big elbow and Ebersole looks a little lost so far. Head is still landing wel. Right hand by Ebersole lands. Another body kick by Ebersole. Another takedown by Ebersole is stuffed. Head dropped for a guillotine but gave up on it right away. Ebersole is on top now. Head tries to use the cage to get out and now he kicks him off. Cartwheel kick by Ebersole doesn't land and now Head is on top of him. 10-9 Head.

Round 2 - Ebersole shoots, Head stuffs it. Head lands a few punches and they're back to standing. When this is on the feet it's pretty much Head being stronger and better. Ebersole has to figure out a way to get it to the ground that isn't Head going for a choke like the first round. Clinch by Ebersole and Head gets free of it. Hard uppercut by Ebersole. Good right hand by Head. Hard knee by Head and Ebersole really looking for the takedown and he does get it with about a minute left. Head sweeps him at the end of the round and he wins another one in my eyes.

Round 3 - Ebersole shoots and is stuffed. And again. Head takes his back standing and takes him down. They go back to standing, Ebersole shoots again, again he's stuffed. And again. This round is brutal to watch. Ebersole finally gets the takedown. 10-9 Head I guess.

Official scorecards: 29-28 Head, 29-28 Ebersole, 29-28 Head. James Head wins by split decision.

Cheick Kongo vs. Shawn Jordan - Round 1 -Jordan pushes Kongo into the cage early in the round. Kongo leans on him. Kongo defending well. Jordan continues trying for the takedown and not getting it. Still in the same position two minutes into the round. Kongo takes his back standing now by slipping under and lands a punch. Low blow by Jordan. They restart after a break and now they're at distance again with Kongo going a bit quicker and looking to turn it into a kickboxing match for a bit. Kongo pushes him to the cage and was briefly looking for the takedown but gets turned around. 10-9 Kongo.

Round 2 - Kongo pushes him into the cage, Jordan spins him and here we are in a cage clinch again. He slips to Jordan's back again and lands a few punches. This is dreadful. Kongo on his back again, landing a few punches. Kongo just twisting his neck a bit and now tries to drag him down and take the back but slips off and Jordan is on top. Kongo was about to slip out and the round ended. This fight stinks, Kongo is tired. I'm not scoring that.

Round 3 - More fighting against the cage and Kongo lands a knee to the body. More clinching against the cage. Jordan throws a few arm punches and Kongo lands two punches and then holds him. More cage clinching and there is NOTHING but booing coming from the crowd. Fight ends. Thank god.

Official scorecards: 30-28, 30-27, 30-27. Cheick Kongo wins by unanimous decision.

Hector Lombard vs. Tim Boetsch - Round 1 - Leg kick by Tim early. Lombard throws some punches that are blocked. And another. Takedown attempt by Boetsch is blocked and Lombard lands a few good punches. Hard uppercut for Lombard now. Lombard holding Boetsch against the cage, Tim gets away but does eat a knee. Leg kick by Tim. Boetsch is landing some okay leg kicks but not much else so far. Boetsch with a front kick, punch and then a takedown that doesn't hit but does make Lombard fall briefly. Boetsch back to the leg kicks. Boetsch with another leg kick and then a takedown that is stuffed. 10-9 Boetsch.

Round 2 - Hard leg kick early again by Tim. Body kick by Boetsch but Lombard lands a good left hand. Leg kick is met by a hard left by Lombard. FIght is very slow with not a lot landing for either guy except leg kicks. They do get into a bit of a grappling exchange and Lombard landed a couple punches. That should be enough to win Lombard the round.

Round 3 - More Tim picking him off with leg kicks and circling. Boetsch with a knee and a punch. Crowd booing again. This main card has been a disaster. Not much happening here. Lombard's debut is a bomb and no one is going to want to see him near a title fight after this. Lombard with a takedown, Boetsch up and he lands some knees. Heavy boos continue. 10-9 Boetsch for me gives him the fight 29-28

Official scorecards: 29-28 Boetsch, 29-28 Lombard, 29-28 Boetsch. Tim Boetsch wins by split decision.

Urijah Faber vs. Renan Barao - Round 1 -Barao with a few head kicks that miss. Faber moving well early. He charges in and Barao lands a few punches. A lot of strikes being thrown and nothing landing. Barao with a few head kicks and now a knee to the body. Not a lot happened there. 10-9 Barao.

Round 2 - Barao with a combo and a right hand does get through at the end. Faber with a few good right hands of his own now. Faber with an accidental eye poke. Flying knee lands for Barao a little bit. Barao with a leg kick. Another leg kick and then a few punches. 10-9 Barao.

Round 3 - Leg kick and a big combo by Barao and Faber circles away. Barao is going to cruise to a decision if Faber isn't more aggressive. Barao has nothing really to worry about. Faber does land an uppercut and then he backs away and goes back to circling, allowing Barao to land a few kicks. Round ends, crowd chants "refund" loudly. I'm done with my scoring tonight. This card has killed me.

Round 4 -More of Barao picking some spots to throw leg kicks or the occasional combo. Crowd boos. Faber gets poked in the eye. Crowd boos. Hard body shot by Barao. Round ends.

Round 5 - Faber threw a few jabs, Barao threw a few punches in return, nothing much landed. Hard left hook by Barao now. Faber with a nice little flurry. Crowd boos loudly again once the action slows down, then they cheer after a few kicks. Crowd boos after the fight ends.

Official scorecards: 49-46, 50-45, 49-46. Renan Barao wins by unanimous decision.
