Over the past few days, it was rumored and then confirmed that Ian McCall would be fighting in front of a home town audience at UFC on Fox 4. He was set to face John Moraga at the event at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, but has now been forced to withdraw from the bout.

The flyweight standout today took to the Underground and said that he was "forced to withdraw days ago", also promising to update fans later.

McCall's bout with Moraga was set to be on the prelims of the card, after McCall was coming off of a loss to Demetrius Johnson at UFC on FX 3. Moraga was set to make his UFC debut at the event.

Now we just have to wait and see what comes of this. It is possible that McCall had to withdraw due to injury, but anything is possible, and he gave no real reason for the withdrawal.

Update: McCall just spoke to MMA.tv stating that he was forced to withdraw due to a knee injury.
