Best of Luck to the Killa B

For those of you unaware, Ben 'the Killa B' Saunders is fighting tomorrow night (Friday July 20th) on the undercard of the Bellator 72 event at the USF Sun Dome in Tampa Florida against Brian Warren. Ben has often supported BE with multiple posts and comments, even bringing a little 'Lets Mutherfukers' action to his pre-fight camera roll in the cage and I think its a good opportunity for BE to return the gesture by offering a little to support Ben tomorrow.

Ben's opponent, Brian Warren is officially listed as 18-15-1 (according to Wikipedia) although this may be a touch deceptive towards his momentum as he is currently riding a five fight streak with seven wins from his last eight. He's not without experience in the bigger shows and has fought in Strikeforce and K1 against the likes of Karo Parisyan, Jake Shields and Cung Le, he is also a well rounded fighter with notable results at Grapplers Quest in the past. The bout will be at a 178lb catchweight with Warren coming in five pounds under at the weigh in. While certainly not a gimme for Ben, his experience at the highest levels of the sport should give him a definite edge (its hard to ignore the fact that Warren lost each of those fights against top echelon competitors).

For anyone who needs reminding, Ben carries a winning UFC record (4-3) and was a finalist in the 170lb Bellator Season 5 Welterweight tournament before losing to Beast-mensch Douglas Lima, while coming undone last time round at the semi final stage against Bryan Baker (dropping from middleweight) and whose bulk on the night was just too much for the Killa B.

Its important therefore for Ben to get back on track tomorrow night, his fight can be viewed on Spike.com and Bellator.com (from circa 6pm EST) and I hope you will join in with wishing him all the best for a swift and decisive victory.

Ben, its time to unleash that jeet kune fury as we know you can... not many fighters can claim to have landed 42 knees on an opponent in a single fight, let alone in a single round (and all from the thai clinch).

More power to you!
