So, the UFC's September card in Indianapolis appears to be a no go. The event was planned in late may, but fans started to take notice when with each passing day, no fights were announced for the event. Now, according to MMA Junkie, the event has been scrapped.
The card was originally scheduled to take place at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, but is now on schedule for October 5th in a yet to be determined venue. This event was supposed to be the UFC's second event held at the aforementioned venue. Tickets were supposed to be going on sale next week, according to the Bankers Life Fieldhouse's website, but today the event was no longer listed on their calendar.
The card only had one fight targeted for it so far, a featherweight fight between Diego Nunes and Bart Paleszewski. It is unclear where that bout will take place now, or if it will take place at all.
My condolences to you eager Indiana fans.
