LAS VEGAS - MAY 28: UFC fighter Quinton "Rampage" Jackson (L) speaks to Joe Rogan (R) and the crowd about his fight against UFC fighter Rashad Evans at UFC 114: Rampage versus Rashad at the Mandalay Bay Hotel on May 28, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada. (Photo by Jon Kopaloff/Getty Images)
Former UFC Light Heavyweight champion Quinton Jackson has never been accused of pulling any punches and he definitely didn't here when asked to comment on UFC 148. Rampage had plenty to say about Forrest Griffin, who shocked the crowd by leaving the Octagon after his bout with Tito Ortiz before returning to steal Joe Rogan's microphone and post-fight interview. Griffin wasn't the only target though, Rampage also addressed Chael Sonnen who helped build the event through a constant stream of brash trash talk.
Here's what Jackson had to say to MMA Elite:
Tito won. Forrest even knew it, that’s why he ran out of the cage like a little crybaby like he always does. C’mon. Somebody told him, ‘Forrest, get your ass back to the cage! You won, idiot! We’re gonna give it to you!’ Stupid, man.
I think Chael should keep his word and leave the UFC because that’s what he said he was gonna do if he lost. And he lost HORRIBLY. Bad! Chael sucks. He should go somewhere where people like his interviews, the way he talks shit on everybody. I can’t stand that boy. F*ck Chael.
Strong words from Quinton Jackson that definitely won't go unnoticed. In fact, rumors have it that Chael Sonnen will be responding personally on tonight's episode of UFC Tonight.
Rampage last competed at UFC 144, losing a unanimous decision to Ryan Bader. He's expected to return against UFC newcomer Glover Teixeira at UFC 153 on October 13 at the HSBC Arena in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
